Video Testimonial: A Mother on Her Son Alan's Stem Cell Therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder
In our video testimonial, Zhuldyz talks about how advanced technology — specifically stem cell treatment — helped her son Alan with his autism.
Alan was born in 2017 and was diagnosed with an intraventricular hemorrhage and cerebral depression from birth. As he approached age 2, his mother began noticing he was different from other children: he kept to himself, didn't speak, had tantrums, didn't respond to his name, and didn't point at things.
After an autism test came back with high scores, Zhuldyz took action — first normalizing his diet, then attending traditional therapy. Afterward, Alan's family realized they needed to try something new.
Alan's family decided to pursue stem cell treatment last year. "Science knows certain things, but that doesn't mean your local doctor knows about them — and even if they do, they won't necessarily prescribe it or even tell you about it. If a discovery was made yesterday, or even a few years ago, they might not know about it at all," says his mother.
After the procedure, some behavioral improvements and reduced autism symptoms gradually became noticeable. At first, hyperactivity appeared and lasted several weeks; after a month his behavior stabilized, and there were significant improvements in speech — he started asking lots of questions, became more attentive, and his communication and interest in conversation increased.
"We decided to see it through to the end. The first time, we saw an effect, though as I mentioned it wasn't very obvious, but over the course of a few months, roughly speaking, we saw progress.
We're hoping this time will also bring real progress: a good, lasting effect."
