a method for affecting the body

The Barotherapy Procedure

Barotherapy is the saturation of the body with an air-oxygen mixture under elevated pressure, for preventive or therapeutic purposes, using a special device — a hyperbaric chamber.

The method can be used with children who have ASD, speech and cognitive developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and other conditions.

The main goals of barotherapy: boosting cellular metabolism and stimulating peripheral nerve receptors. The procedure has anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating effects.

ADVANCED MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES

Undergo Barotherapy

At our Bioclinic in Samara, we use a next-generation hyperbaric chamber — a unique design developed by Russian scientists. Unlike other hyperbaric chambers, it operates on an entirely different principle built around one core criterion: patient safety. In previous-generation chambers, the oxygen mixture fills the entire chamber space, which can create hazards such as fire risk, requiring all potentially dangerous items (metal, gadgets, etc.) to be kept out. In our chamber, pressure is created by a compressor that pumps in atmospheric air, while oxygen is delivered through a separate circuit. This means the procedure can be done comfortably while sitting with your child: reading, drawing, or using gadgets. The chamber's panoramic windows also help remove any feeling of confinement.
